The ISL15102AIRZ is a single-port differential line driver specifically developed for power line communication (PLC) applications. This device is designed to drive reline loads while maintaining the high linearity required for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) PLC modem links.

The ISL15102AIRZ has a disabled control pin (DIS). In the disabled mode, the line driver enters the low-power mode, and the output maintains a high impedance in the presence of a high received signal amplitude, thereby improving the integrity of the TDM received signal. The ISL15102AIRZ features built-in thermal protection. When the internal temperature reaches 150°C (typical value), the driver shuts down to prevent damage to the equipment. The internal input CM buffer can maximize the dynamic range and reduce the number of external components in the application circuit.
