The ZIOL2411BI1R is a line driver/level converter IC that provides two independent high voltage I/O channels with a wide range of configurable system features. It resolves the physical layer issues of sensor/actuator systems in factory automation applications and is specifically designed to support the communication standard IO-Link. The output driver is push-pull stage. In series mode, RDSon is less than 3.3Ω at all operating temperatures. This configuration is stored in the on-chip EEPROM and is automatically loaded into the control register of ZIOL2411BI1R during power-on. The ZIOL2411BI1R also provides status information, such as overload and overheating conditions. The integrated SPI interface supports access to configuration and status registers. The ZIOL2411BI1R is manufactured using powerful CMOS mixed-signal technology, allowing for a power supply voltage of up to 40V. The read/write function of the EEPROM is guaranteed throughout the entire operating temperature range and is combined with a 3.3V low-voltage core power supply.
