The TPS7A8500RGRR is a low-noise (4.4 µVRMS), low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator with a 4A pull-current capability and a maximum dropout voltage of only 240mV. The output voltage of this device can be programmed via pins within a range of 0.8V to 3.95V and can be adjusted via an external resistor divider within a range of 0.8V to 5.0V.
The TPS7A8500RGRR combines low noise (4.4 µVRMS), high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), and high output current performance, making it ideal for high-speed communication, video, medical, or test and measurement applications, capable of driving up to 1A load current. The high performance of the TPS7A85 effectively limits phase noise and clock jitter generated by the power supply, making it ideal for powering high-performance serialisers and deserialisers (SerDes), analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analogue converters (DACs), and radio frequency (RF) components. RF amplifiers particularly benefit from the device's high performance and 5.0V output capability.
