The MAX6753KA29 are low-power, microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuits that monitor the 1.575V to 5V single/dual system supply voltages and provide a stable reset output and watchdog function. These devices trigger a reset when the VCC supply voltage or RESET IN falls below the reset threshold or when the manual reset is pulled low. After VCC and RESET IN rise above the reset threshold, the reset signal remains reset active for one reset timeout cycle. The reset function is unaffected by power supply transients.

The MAX6753KA29 has a factory-preset reset threshold with an accuracy of ±2% over a range of 1.575V to 5.0V with a 100mV step difference.

The reset and watchdog delays are adjustable with external capacitors.The MAX6753KA29 has a windowed watchdog timer to detect if the expected operating window is exceeded.

The MAX6753KA29 has push-pull or open-drain/RESET outputs.The MAX6753KA29 is available in an 8-pin SOT23 package and operates over the automotive grade temperature range (-40°C to +125°C).
