The MAX823TEUK microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuits incorporate a reset output, watchdog, and manual reset input functions in a 5-pin SOT23. They significantly improve system reliability and accuracy compared to separate ICs or discrete components.The MAX823TEUK has been specifically designed to ignore fast transients on VCC.

Seven pre-programmed reset threshold voltages are provided (see Reset Threshold Table in the full datasheet). This device has an active-low reset output to ensure the correct state when VCC is as low as 1 V. The MAX823TEUK also provides a watchdog input and a manual reset input.
