The UCC27523DR devices are dual-channel, high-speed, low-side gate drivers that efficiently drive MOSFET and IGBT power switches. Designed to minimise breakdown current, the UCC27523DR delivers high peak current pulses of up to 5A pull and 5A sink for capacitive loads, with rail-to-rail drive capability and ultra-short propagation delays (typically 13ns). In addition, the driver matches the internal propagation delays between the two channels. These delays are ideal for applications such as synchronous rectifiers where the timing of the dual gate drive is critical. This also allows the two channels to be connected in parallel to efficiently increase the current drive capability or to drive two switches in parallel with a single input signal. The input pin thresholds are based on TTL- and CMOS-compatible low-voltage logic that is fixed and independent of the VDD supply voltage. Wide hysteresis between high and low thresholds provides excellent noise immunity.
