Product Description

The TMS5700332BPZQQ1 device is a high-performance automotive-grade microcontroller for safety systems. The safety architecture includes two CPUs in lockstep, CPU and memory BIST logic, ECC on flash and data SRAM, parity on peripheral memory, and loopback on peripheral I/Os.


The TMS5700332BPZQQ1 device integrates an ARM Cortex-R4 CPU with a high performance of 1.66 DMIPS/MHz, operating at up to 80 MHz to provide up to 132 DMIPS of computing power. The device supports the Big Endian (BE32) format.


The TMS5700332BPZQQ1 device features 384KB and 256KB of integrated Flash and 32KB of data RAM, respectively, with single-bit error correction and double-bit error detection. The flash memory on this device is an electrically erasable and programmable non-volatile memory implemented through a 64-bit wide data bus interface. The flash memory uses a 3.3V supply input voltage (the same level as the I/O supply) for all read, program and erase operations. In pipeline mode, the Flash operates at a system clock frequency of 80 MHz, and the SRAM supports single-cycle read and write accesses in byte, half-word, word, and double-word modes over the entire supported frequency range.


The TMS5700332BPZQQ1 device features a Next Generation High-End Timer (N2HET) timer coprocessor with up to 19 I/Os and a 12-bit analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) with 16 inputs in a 100-pin package for real-time control applications.
