The ADF4355BCPZ, when used in combination with an external loop filter and an external reference frequency, enables a fractional N division or integer N division phase locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer. A range of dividers are available for operating frequencies from 54 MHz to 6,800 MHz.

The ADF4355BCPZ has an integrated VCO with a fundamental output frequency range of 3400 MHz to 6800 MHz. In addition, VCO frequencies can be divided 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64, so users can generate RF output frequencies as low as 54 MHz.
