The ADBMS6948WCCSZ is a multi-cell battery monitor that measures up to 16 series-connected cells with high measurement accuracy over the entire temperature range.The ADBMS6948WCCSZ has a measurement range of -2.5V to 5.5V and is suitable for all battery chemistries, including NMC and LFP.The ADBMS6948WCCSZ provides excellent integrated bi-directional current measurement. It measures the current flowing into and out of the battery pack by measuring the voltage drop across an external sense resistor. The current channel ADC is synchronised with the cell voltage measurement to provide simultaneous cell voltage and current measurements to accurately estimate the state of charge (SOC), state of operation (SOH) and state of power (SOP).
