The TPS613221ADBVR is a synchronous boost converter with a quiescent current of only 6.5µA. The TPS61322 provides a power solution for products powered by alkaline batteries, NiMH rechargeable batteries or single cell Li-Ion batteries. The TPS61322 also supports the use of small external inductors and capacitors. 1.5V input to 2.2V output conversion at 10mA load is more than 90% efficient.

The TPS61322 can also support high output current applications with an external Schottky diode. Using an external Schottky diode in parallel with the internal rectifier FET, the TPS613222A can provide output current capability above 500mA for 3V input to 5V output voltage conversion.

The output voltage can be set internally to a fixed output in the range 1.8V to 5.5V (in 0.1V increments). The TPS61322 also features thermal shutdown protection.

The TPS613221ADBVR is available in a 2.9mm × 1.3mm 3-pin SOT package or a 2.9mm × 1.6mm 5-pin SOT package.
