The ADPL54203ES8E No-Opto isolated flyback converter operates in the input voltage range from 3.2V to 40V, providing isolated output power up to 17W. The single-chip micropower isolated flyback converter achieves voltage regulation without a third winding or optical isolator by sampling isolated output voltage directly from the primary reverse shock shape. The output voltage is programmed with two external resistors and a third optional temperature-compensated resistor. Boundary mode operation provides a small magnetic solution with excellent load regulation performance, while low ripple burst mode operation maintains high efficiency at light loads while minimizing output voltage ripple.
