The AD9207 is a dual-channel, 12-bit 6 GSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The ADC input incorporates an on-chip broadband buffer with overload protection. The device is designed to support a variety of applications, enabling direct sampling of broadband signals up to 8 GHz. On-chip, low-phase-noise phase-locked loop (PLL) clock frequency synthesizers can be used to generate ADC sampling clocks, simplifying the printed circuit board (PCB) distribution of high frequency clock signals. The clock output buffer can be used to send the ADC sampling clock to other devices.
