The MAX9278GTM/VY deserialisers receive data from GMSL serialisers on 50Ω coaxial cable or 100Ω shielded twisted pair (STP) cable. They then output the deserialised data on three of the four data channel LVDS outputs (oLDI). HDCP content protection is available, but is otherwise identical to the MAX9278A. The deserialiser pairs with any GMSL serialiser with coaxial outputs. When set to STP input, it is compatible with any lower version of GMSL serialiser. In TDM mode, the audio channels support L-PCM I2S stereo and up to 8 channels of L-PCM.
