The MAX96717FGTJ/VY GMSL™ Serialiser receives video over the MIPI CSI-2 interface and outputs it over a GMSL2 serial link. It also transmits over the same GMSL2 data can be transmitted over coaxial or shielded twisted pair (STP) cable. It has a fixed rate of 3Gbps and a reverse rate of 187.5Mbps. The device can be programmed over the link via the native I2C/UART interface or a matching deserialiser. Includes two I2C/UART pass-through channels, flexible GPIOs, SPI channels, built-in ADC, temperature sensor, and an extensive set of functionally safe diagnostics.
