The MAX34460AA00 is a system monitor that manages up to 12 power supplies. The power manager monitors the output voltage of the power supplies and continuously detects user-programmable overvoltage and undervoltage thresholds. If a fault is detected, the device automatically shuts down the system in an orderly manner. The device can sequence the power supplies in power-up and power-down order. Using an external circuit, the DAC, the device can close-loop adjust the power supply output voltage to a user-set level. The device has an internal temperature sensor and can support up to four external remote temperature sensors. Once configured, the device operates automatically without host intervention.
