NCP12400BBBBB2DR2G is a new fixed frequency current mode controller with dynamic self-power function. This feature activates the internal start current source to power the controller during start, transient, latch, standby, etc., greatly simplifying the design of auxiliary power supplies and VCC capacitors. The device contains a special high-voltage detector that detects applications unplugged from the AC input line and then triggers the X2 discharge current. The high voltage structure can also be used for undervoltage detection.
