The UC2843ALQD8RQ1 PWM controller is a pin-to-pin compatible control device and an upgraded version of the UC284xAQ/UC284xA-Q1 devices. This controller features the function of controlling current mode or switching mode power supplies, including a higher VCC range (36V), a lower starting current (0.25mA), a stricter operating current tolerance (up to 15mA), and a faster cycle-by-cycle current protection response (100ns).
