The TLE9180D31QK is an advanced gate driver IC specifically designed to control six external N-channel MOSFETs to form an inverter for high-current 3-phase motor drive applications in the automotive sector. The TLE9180D-31QK uses advanced high-voltage technology to support single-cell and hybrid battery systems with battery voltages of 12 V, 24 V and 48 V, even in harsh automotive environments, combined with high motor currents. As a result, the bridge, motor, and power-related pins can withstand voltages up to 90 V. The motor associated pins can even withstand negative voltage transients as low as -15 V without damage.
