The MPQ4431GLE-33-AEC1 device is a low static current synchronous buck converter with integrated frequency tunable (350kHz to 2.5MHz) for both high - and low-end power MOSFETs. It uses a current control mode and can provide up to 1A efficient output current with fast loop response. The wide input range from 3.3V to 36V makes it suitable for a variety of buck applications in automotive environments, and the very low static current allows it to be ideal for battery-powered applications. The device uses AAM (Advanced Asynchronous modulation) mode to achieve efficient operation by reducing switching frequency under light load conditions to reduce switching and gate drive losses.
