The LT3755HMSE-2 is a DC/DC controller designed to act as a constant current source for driving high current leds. It drives a low end external n-channel power MOSFET from an internal tuned 7.15V power supply. The fixed-frequency, current-mode architecture provides stable operation over a wide range of supply and output voltages. The LT3755-2 detects output current at the high end of the LED string. High-end current detection is a flexible solution for driving leds that allows for boost, buck or buck-boost configurations. The PWM input provides an LED dimming ratio of up to 300:1, while the CTRL input provides additional analog dimming capabilities.
