The LT3744IUHE is a fixed-frequency, synchronous step-down DC/DC controller designed to drive an LED load with pulsed current up to 40A. The peak current mode controller will maintain a ±3% LED current adjustment rate over a wide output voltage range from VEE to VIN. By allowing VEE to float to negative voltage, multiple series leds can be driven from a single lithium-ion battery with a simple single step-down output stage. PWM dimming is implemented using PWM pins.
