The MAX77961BEFV06 charger includes the Smart Power Selector™, which can be used directly as a directional buck converter without additional inductors, allowing the IC to power USB on-the-go (OTG) accessories. The device integrates a low-loss power switch and provides a compact solution with high efficiency, low heating and fast battery charging. The reverse buck converter supports true load disconnection and provides adjustable output current limiting protection. This device is highly flexible and can be programmed with an I2C configuration or automatically configured with a resistance configuration.
