The AD7284WBSWZ device contains all the functions required for general purpose monitoring of stacked lithium-ion batteries and is commonly used in hybrid vehicles and battery backup applications. The AD7284 has a multiplex unit voltage and auxiliary analog-to-digital converter (ADC) measurement channel that supports four to eight battery management units. The device provides a maximum ±3 mV total untunable error (TUE) (cell voltage accuracy), which includes all internal errors from input to output. The main ADC resolution is 14 bits.
