The ADUM7440CRQZ are 4-channel digital isolators featuring ADI's iCoupler® technology. The isolators combine high-speed CMOS with monolithic air-core transformer technology to provide outstanding performance characteristics that outperform optocouplers and other integrated couplers. 

The ADuM744x family of quad 1kV digital isolators is available in a small 16-pin QSOP package. Compared to most quad-channel isolators in 16-pin SOIC wide-body packages, the ADuM744x saves almost 70% of board space, yet still withstands high isolation voltages and meets regulatory requirements such as UL and CSA standards (pending). In addition to the space savings, the ADuM744x is less expensive than 2.5kV or 5kV isolators, making it suitable for applications where only basic isolation is required.
