The ADUM7642ARQZ is a 6-channel digital isolator using ADI's iCoupler® technology. These 1kV digital isolation devices are available in a small 20-pin QSOP package. When only functional isolation is required, these devices offer space savings and lower cost than 2.5kV or 5kV isolation solutions. Like many of ADI's isolators, the product family uses a 3.0V to 5.5V supply voltage and consumes one-tenth to one-sixth the power of other digital isolators. In addition, low pulse-width distortion (less than 6 ns at C-level) and channel-by-channel burr filters are provided to protect the device from extraneous noise. Four channel direction combinations provide maximum data rates of 1 Mbps or 25 Mbps. The default output on all models is a logic high state in the absence of input power.
