The LTC2979IY is a 16-channel power system manager for sequencing, trimming (servoing), margining, monitoring, managing faults, providing telemetry, and creating fault logs.PMBus commands support power sequencing, precise point-of-load voltage adjustment, and margining.The DAC uses a proprietary soft connect algorithm to minimise power disturbances. Monitoring features include over- and under-voltage threshold limits over- and under-voltage threshold limits, as well as over- and under-temperature limits. Programmable fault response disables the power supply with an option to retry after a fault is detected.
