The LTC2991CMS device can be used to monitor system temperature, voltage and current. Through the I2C serial interface, eight monitors can independently measure the power supply voltage and can be paired for differential measurement of current-sensing resistors or temperature-sensing transistors. Other measurements include internal temperature and internal VCC. The internal 10ppm benchmark significantly reduces the number of required support components and the area occupied on the board.

Optional addresses and configurable functions provide flexibility for the LTC2991CMS, enabling it to be applied to various systems that require the measurement of temperature, voltage or current data. The LTC2991CMS is highly suitable for systems that require resolution for voltages below millivolts, 1% current measurement, and 1°C temperature accuracy, or any combination of these three.
