The TEA2095TE/1Y is a new synchronous rectifier (SR) controller IC for switch mode power supplies. It uses an adaptive gate drive method to achieve maximum efficiency under any load condition. The SR controller IC is a dedicated controller IC for synchronous rectification of the secondary side of a resonant converter, and it has two driver stages to drive SRMOSFETs to rectify the output of the centre-tap secondary transformer winding. The two gate drive stages have their own sense inputs and can operate independently. They are optimised to operate efficiently with low-impedance MOSFETs and switch at high frequencies. Manufactured using the silicon-on-insulator (SOI) process.
