The ADS8167IRHBR is a 16-bit, 8-channel, high-precision successive approximation register (SAR) analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) that is powered by a single 5V supply and has a total throughput of 500kSPS.

The input multiplexer supports longer build-up times, making it easier to drive analogue inputs. The outputs of the multiplexer and ADC analogue inputs are available as device pins. This configuration allows one ADC driver op amp to be used for all eight analogue inputs of the multiplexer.

The ADS8167IRHBR has a digital window comparator with programmable high and low alarm thresholds for each analogue input channel. The single op-amp solution with programmable alarm thresholds enables low-power, low-cost applications with the smallest form factor.
