The AD4858BBCZ is a fully buffered, 8-channel synchronous sampling, 20-bit, 1 MSPS data acquisition system (DAS) with differential, wide common-mode range inputs.The AD4858 is powered by a low 5 V supply, a flexible input buffer supply, and uses a precision, low-drift internal reference and reference buffer, which allows for independently configurable SoftSpan ranges for each channel to match the Native application signal swing to minimise additional external signal conditioning. To further maximise single-conversion dynamic range, the AD4858 uses Seamless High Dynamic Range (SHDR) technology. When this technology is enabled, the channel's input signal path gain is automatically optimised on a sample-by-sample basis to minimise converter noise on a per-sample basis without compromising linearity.
The AD4858BBCZ features a 7.00 mm × 7.00 mm, 64-ball, ball grid array (BGA), including all critical power and reference bypass capacitors, minimising the footprint and component count of the overall solution and reducing sensitivity to the application's printed circuit board (PCB) layout. It operates over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range.
