The MPQ5850GJ-AEC1 is a smart diode controller that can drive an external N-channel MOSFET can drive an external N-channel MOSFET in place of a Schottky diode for reverse input protection. The device's 20mV ultra-low dropout minimises power loss and achieves the lowest input voltage, making the device ideal for cold-start conditions in automotive applications, and the 4μA shutdown current makes the device ideal for battery-powered applications. The ultra-fast transient response meets the stringent ISO16750 requirements.
