The TPS62993-Q1 is a highly efficient, compact, flexible and easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC/DC converter. 2.5MHz or 1.0MHz selectable switching frequency allows the use of small inductors and provides fast transient response. The wide input voltage range of 3V to 10V supports a variety of nominal inputs such as 9V supply rails, single or multiple Li-ion batteries, 5V or 3.3V supply rails. 

The TPS62993-Q1 can automatically enter power saving mode at light loads (if automatic PFM or PWM is selected) to maintain high efficiency. AEE (if enabled) provides high efficiency over the VIN, VOUT and load current ranges. The device includes a MODE/Smart-CONF input to set the internal and external dividers, switching frequency, output voltage discharge and automatic power save mode or forced PWM operation.
