The ADG1604BCPZ is a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) analogue multiplexer that switches one of the four inputs to a common output D based on the address determined by the 3-bit binary address lines A0, A1, and EN. The device is disabled when the EN pin is logic 0. When on, each switch conducts equally in both directions and the input signal range extends to the supply voltage range. In the OFF condition, a signal level equal to the supply voltage is blocked. All switches are open-first and close-first. The design itself has low charge injection characteristics, allowing for small transients when switching digital inputs.
