The TMUX1574PWR is a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) switch.The TMUX1574PWR offers a 2:1 SPDT switch configuration with four channels.The wide operating supply voltage range of 1.5V to 5.5V makes it ideal for a variety of applications ranging from servers and communications equipment to industrial applications. The device supports bi-directional analogue and digital signals on the source (SxA, SxB) and drain (Dx) pins and can pass signals above the supply (up to VDD x 2) up to a maximum input/output voltage of 5.5V.

Shutdown protection of up to 3.6V on the signal path of the TMUX1574PWR provides isolation when the supply voltage (VDD = 0V) is removed. Without this protection, the switch can reverse power the supply rails through the internal ESD diode, potentially damaging the system.

Fail-Safe Logic Circuits allow voltage to be applied to the logic control pins before voltage is applied to the power supply pins, protecting the device from potential damage. All control inputs have thresholds compatible with 1.8V logic levels to ensure TTL and CMOS logic compatibility when the device is operated within the effective supply voltage range. Integrated pull-down resistors on the logic pins reduce system size and cost by eliminating the need for external components.
