The ADG728BRUZ is a CMOS, 8-channel analog matrix switch with a dual-wire interface for serial control. The on-resistance between the switches is strictly matched, and the on-resistance curve of the ADG728BRUZ is very flat over the entire signal range. The ADG728BRUZ works equally well as a multiplexer, demultiplexer or switching array; The input signal range can be extended to the supply voltage range.

The ADG728BRUZ uses a two-wire serial interface compatible with the I2C™ interface standard and features two external address pins (A0 and A1) that allow users to set up 2 LSB of 7-bit slave addresses. Four of the two devices can be connected on the same bus. The ADG728BRUZ also contains a RESET pin that should be connected to a high level when not in use.
