The ADG1421BCPZ device has two independent single-pole single-throw (SPST) switches built into it. The ADG1421 switch is turned on if the relevant control input is logic 1. When switched on, the electrical conductivity of each switch is the same in both directions, and the input signal range can be extended to the supply voltage range. In the disconnected condition, a signal level equal to the supply voltage is blocked.
