The SI34071-A01-GM Power over Ethernet (PoE) IC integrates an 802.3bt-compatible interface and a high-efficiency DC-DC converter capable of controlling forward or flyback converters. These converters achieve over 90% efficiency with the Si34071, delivering full 8-stage, 71W power to the system. A simple 9600 baud rate UART interface to the system MCU is included. these can provide high power for 5G small cells, wireless access points and IoT gateways. The IC is available in a small 32-pin 5mm x 5mm QFN package.
