The AD9207BBPZ-6G is a dual, 12-bit, 6 GSPS analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) with integrated on-chip wideband buffers with overload protection on the ADC inputs. The device is designed to support a wide range of applications, enabling direct sampling of broadband signals up to 8 GHz. An on-chip, low phase noise phase-locked loop (PLL) clock frequency synthesiser can be used to generate the ADC sample clock, simplifying printed circuit board (PCB) distribution of the high-frequency clock signal. A clock output buffer can be used to send the ADC sample clock to other devices.
