The AD5662BRMZ-1, part of the nanoDAC family, is a low-power, single-channel, 16-bit buffered-voltage output DAC that operates from 2.7 V to 5.5 V and is designed to be monotonic. An external reference voltage is required to set the output range of the DAC. The device incorporates a power-on reset circuit that ensures the DAC output is powered up to 0 V or mid-range and remains there until a valid write is made. The device has a power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 480 nA and provides a software selectable output load in power-down mode.
