The R5F121BCMFP microcontroller unit (MCU) includes safety features, a general-purpose PWM timer, and an RL78-S2 CPU core running at up to 16MHz. Memory includes 16KB/32KB flash, 2KB SRAM and 1KB data flash. These low-power MCUs have a -40C° to +125°C industrial temperature range and are available in an LQFP 0.8mm package. The compact size contributes to device miniaturisation while offering low power consumption and a variety of built-in high-performance peripheral functions.The RL78/G16 series is also designed to improve power efficiency and reduce bill of materials (BOM) costs.
