The LT8640SEV-2 synchronous step-down regulator features a Silent Switcher architecture designed to minimize EMI emissions and provide high efficiency at high switching frequencies. Peak current mode control with 30ns minimum turn-on time achieves high step-down ratios even at high switching frequencies, and the LT8640SEV-2 features external compensation for current equalization and fast transient response at high switching frequencies.

Burst Mode® operation enables ultra-low standby current consumption, forced continuous mode controls frequency harmonics over the entire output load range, or extended spectrum operation further reduces EMI emissions.
