The ATSAMD21G17D is a low-power, 16-channel, 12-bit/16-bit buffered voltage output, low-power digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). It includes a 2.5 V, 2 ppm/°C internal reference (enabled by default) and a gain select pin to achieve a 2.5 V full scale output (gain = 1). The device operates over a single supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V and is designed to be monotonic. The 28-lead leadframe chip size package (LFCSP) with integrated power-on reset (POR) reset (POR) circuitry ensures that the DAC output reaches and remains at zero or mid-scale after power-up.
