The MAX9288GTM/VY Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link (GMSL) deserialiser receives data from a GMSL serialiser over a 50Ω coaxial cable or 100Ω shielded twisted pair (STP) cable and outputs the deserialised data at the CSI-2 output. With HDCP content protection, it is otherwise identical to the MAX9288. These deserialisers can be paired with any GMSL serialiser that supports coaxial cable outputs. When programmed to support STP inputs, they are backward compatible with any GMSL serialiser.
