The MAX96714GTJ/VY deserialiser converts GMSL™2/1 inputs to MIPI CSI-2 outputs. These kits allow the transmission of bi-directional control channels along with forward video transmission.The MAX96714 operates at a fixed rate of 3Gbps or 6Gbps in the forward direction and 187.5Mbps in the reverse direction.

Data can be transmitted over low-cost 50Ω coaxial cable or 100Ω STP cable that conforms to the GMSL2 channel specification.
