The MAX77837EWA is the industry's ultra-smallest nanoPower buck-boost converter, optimised for single-cell battery chemistries used in wearables and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The converter operates with an input voltage of 1.8 V to 5.5 V. The output voltage of 1.8 V to 5.2 V can be set via resistors connected to two hardware control pins. The IC can operate in continuous conduction mode (CCM), hopping mode and low-power mode, ensuring high efficiency over a wide load current range. In addition, the IC features an ultra-low quiescent current of 430nA (typical) and a shutdown current of 10nA (typical), making it ideally suited for battery-powered applications that require long standby times.
