The MAX31875R7TZS is a ±1°C local temperature sensor with I2C/SMBus interface. The perfect combination of tiny package and excellent temperature measurement accuracy makes it ideal for use in a variety of devices.

The I2C/SMBus compatible serial interface supports standard write byte, read byte, send byte, and receive byte commands to read temperature data and configure sensor behavior. If the clock is low for more than 30ms (the nominal value), the bus times out and resets the interface. PEC helps hosts that support this feature avoid communication errors.
