The MAX20048ATGB/VY is a current-mode buck-boost controller. The device operates over a 4.5V to 36V input voltage range with a no-load quiescent current of only 55µA quiescent. The device can be operated over an extended input voltage range of 2V to 36V after startup conditions are met. The switching frequency is programmable from 220kHz to 2.2MHz via resistors and can be synchronised with an external clock. Device output voltages are 5V fixed and 4V to 25V adjustable. The wide input voltage range and the ability to maintain a constant output voltage during battery transients make this device ideal for automotive applications. Ideal for automotive applications.
