The LTC7804EMSE is a high performance synchronous step-up DC/DC switching regulator controller that drives all N-channel power MOSFET stages. Synchronous rectification improves efficiency, lowers power consumption and reduces heat dissipation requirements. The constant-frequency current-mode architecture allows for phase-locked switching frequencies up to 3 MHz. the LTC7804EMSE operates over a wide input supply voltage range of 4.5 V to 40 V. The LTC7804EMSE is designed to operate over a wide range of input voltages. When biased away from the boost converter output, the LTC7804 can operate with input supply voltages as low as 1 V after startup.
