The LTC7820EUFD is a fixed ratio, high voltage, high power switched capacitor/charge pump controller. The device has four built-in N-channel MOSFET gate drivers to drive external power MOSFETs in voltage divider, doubler, or negative output converter configurations, and is capable of a 2:1 step-down ratio from input voltages up to 72 V, a 1:2 boost ratio from input voltages up to 36 V, or a 1:1 negative output conversion ratio from input voltages as high as 36 V. The LTC7820EUFD is a fixed-ratio, high-voltage, high-power switched capacitor/charger pump controller. Each power MOSFET has a 1:2 boost ratio from up to 36V input voltage or a 1:1 negative output conversion ratio from input voltages as high as 36V. Each power MOSFET switches at a constant pre-programmed switching frequency with a 50% duty cycle. Optimised for system efficiencies in excess of 99%, the LTC7820 provides a compact and cost-effective solution for high-power, non-isolated intermediate bus applications with fault protection. 

The switching frequency of the LTC7820EUFD can be set linearly from 100kHz to 1MHz. The device is available in a thermally enhanced 28-pin QFN package and features a number of unconnected pins to provide pin spacing to withstand high voltages.
