The ADP1071-2ACCZ device-integrated iCoupler® isolated synchronous flyback controllers are pulse-width modulated (PWM) current-mode fixed-frequency controllers designed for use in isolated DC-DC power supplies. The integration of the proprietary iCoupler® into the ADP1071-2 eliminates the bulky signal transformers and optocouplers used to pass the transmit signal through the isolation boundary. This integration improves overall system reliability and reduces system design complexity, cost and component count.

The isolated flyback controller achieves output regulation by detecting the output voltage on the secondary side. Feedback and PWM signals are transferred between the primary and secondary sides via an iCoupler. These ADP1071-2 controllers feature input current protection, OVP, UVLO, precision enable with adjustable hysteresis, OTP, and energy-saving light load mode (LLM). The isolation voltage is rated at 5kVrms and is available in a 24-terminal LGA package.

The ADP1071-2ACCZ is designed for isolated DC-DC applications with input voltages less than 36V.
